DHEA May Be Good for Arthritis, Too. A researcher from the National Institutes of Health was the author of an article in the Journal of Rheumatology stating that men and women with rheumatoid arthritis tend to have lower than normal levels of DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), and men have low testosterone levels.
